The Alpina Women’s Eve 30T Touring Boot takes you over the river and through the woods, in or out of the tracks. Alpina designed the Eve 30T with a Thinsulate lining and an ergonomic interior to keep your feet warm, dry, and comfortable during long days on your skis. The tall, hinged cuff provides plenty of ankle support without inhibiting your stride, and the power strap closure reduces rubbing. You can trust the internal speed lacing to provide a snug fit and the tongue cover to keep out snow when you break trail.

Bottom Line: Comfortable, warm feet let you ski all day.

Hard plastic equals blisters

By:

These boots fit my feet well yet every time I ski in them I end up with large blisters around my heels. I suspect this is because the "plastic" heel cup that is supposed to lock in your heel actually creates a rub point. The support on the top of the toe box also extends quite far back and will dig into the top of your foot. I used to love cross country skiing and now I'm stressed about getting blisters the next time I go out. Very disappointed.

It's European sizing. Pull up the size chart next to the drop down menu and it will break it down.

Watch out for sizing

By:
February 10, 2009

I just bought these boots and was shocked to find out that the sizing chart does not accurately reflect the actual sizing of the boots. For example, the label on the box states that a size 38 corresponds to a US women's 6.5!! I'm a US 7.5 and could not even dream of getting my foot into the 38s. Otherwise, the boots seem pretty standard for the job --will indeed find out once I get the right size

doesn't that make the chart correct???
you should be using a larger size than 38,,,,,
if 6.5 US = 38 UR
then7.5US.= more than 38,, maybe 43?
