With a 66mm waist and a generous sidecut, the 110 is Alpina's widest backcountry nordic ski, and it is about as stable and powerful as a ski that's built for pure downhill. But that's not to say it won't tackle uphills with aplomb, as it has a Sollte SS810 waxless base for easy and free gliding on flats or downhills and balanced control and forward-moving efficiency going up.
