I have never used poles that are 2-4 times as much as these. I cannot imagine that the are that much better. These are great; very light with a nice strap.

These poles are OK. They are nice and light, yet sturdy. I do not love the straps as they are complicated to put on and require some maneuvering. I also find the straps not as supportive as the straps on some of my other poles. The sale price was worth it, though.

I actually bought these as skate poles for my daughter. Good stiffness, nice cork grips and she loves the easily adjustable glove-style straps.
