Fast and stable.
One is fun and two is a riot. In the Aire Outfitter II Tandem Inflatable Kayak, you and a paddling pal can bounce along some middling rapids without worrying about unintended dips in the drink. The wide hull on this rugged rapid-ripping kayak keeps you riding high above the water when you see more white spray than smooth, cool blue (water, that is). Elevated tips and a flat bottom let you spin and slip through tight squeezes. If you're going it alone on a two-week Alaska expedition, this stable waterbaby handles lots of your gear and photo equipment, so you can be ready if you get graced with the Northern Lights.
PVC on the outside is rough, tough, and ready to rumble on class II and III fun. The large tube diameter, continually curved from end to end, and low seat position work together to limit your accidental adventures overboard. The internal AIREcell system is what buoys this boat. Between the float and PVC, you get a stiff, responsive boat for fun on the flats or foam. One-way marine Leafield B7 valves come with protective caps, so you don't have to worry about springing a leak halfway down the river.
Two chairs are set low in the boat, keeping your center of gravity near the water surface for increased stability. The chairs each have a large storage pocket and a bottle holder, and they can be removed to cushion your tush when you're having lunch on a rocky bit of shoreline. Two carry handles make it easy for you and your boating buddy to tote this 46-pound pleasure craft. Sixteen cargo loops let you hit the water fully equipped for just about anything.

Aire Inflatables are rock solid
I rode on an Aire Tandem inflatable one time on a river rafting trip and had so much fun that I had to get my own. Aire kayaks are rock solid inflatables that have been put to the test. The outfitter II is perfect for us because we wanted more stability in the rough stuff. There is ample space behind the rear passenger for gear / supplies or I even have room for a full cooler if I'm running solo. Great buy.
