    The art of warm.

The Airblaster Women's Ninja Suit earns its black belt in the art of warmth whether you're skiing, camping, or just surviving the cold. Its Air Tech fabric mixes brushed polyester with stretchy Lycra for a four-way stretch, superior moisture management, and midweight warmth. A women-specific form fit keeps bulk to a minimum from head to toe.

Airblaster also equipped the Ninja Suit with a snug 7-panel hood for extra coverage. The thumbholes secure the sleeves in place to ease layering on a cold winter day, and the 350° waist zipper makes bathroom breaks a breeze.

    Cosmic Bliss

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: True to size

I bought this Ninja Suit in the far out pattern and it is magical. I was concerned about sizing since onesies can be tricky. I was pleased to find that the medium fits me perfectly, and I am 5'6, about 140 lbs. Another concern was being able to use the bathroom with the hip zip feature but it's not an issue at all. If you want to be hugged in warmth by your baselayer on chilly days on the slopes, I'd suggest snagging one.

    Nice but not revolutionary

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Size Bought: M & L (both ok)

The sizing is tricky. Based on my height (5'5"), weight (140 athletic/curvy), and pants size (6 or 8) I could fit into a M or a L. Neither fits especially well, but they both work. The M is a little too tight and short on the legs. The L is a little too loose and long in the torso. I have skiied and slept in the L comfortably and been hiking and skiing in the M -- they're both just ok. Depending on your proportions you may also find that none of the sizes fit too well.

The fabric itself is pretty nice for a baselayer but nothing spectacular. It's medium weight, maybe on the lighter side of medium. It breathes well and dries fast but isn't super warm (they do have a merino wool blend option). It's soft and slides under a fleece or ski jacket easily and the outer layer doesn't bunch or ride up.

Workmanship is nice, good seams, good zippers. It'll last forever. Huge embroidered ninja logo on chest is excessive though.

The zip around the waist for using the bathroom is ok. It works but is, as expected, a little awkward, especially when squatting in the woods at night. Another 2" of zipper would make it easier.

I love hooded baselayers in general. Unfortunately there's a hole for a ponytail...which defeats the purpose of the thing being a single piece (but it's easy to sew closed).

I'd never bring this backpacking or where space is a premium -- it's much more practical for me to have a top and bottom I can combine as needed.

I just had to get the galaxy space print when I saw it. It's beautifully done (though a little too repetitious). The patterns seem to be around for only one year, so if you see a print or solid you like you should get it asap.

As usual there are more options for men, including a baggy fleece one for lounging and one with shorter legs to better coexist with your ski boots. Super lame.

Overall it's a nice piece but isn't revolutionary. Having a one piece baselayer hasn't made my skiing, hiking, or camping experiences significantly warmer.

The price seems way too high, but there are some other one piece baselayers on BC that are twice as much.

    Winner winner...

A friend of mine loved this so much she wanted to share a few thoughts. "I'm 5'1" with an athletic build and purchased a medium which fits well. It's a little baggy at the waist but it's not a problem. I wasn't sure how comfortable it would be since it is attached at the waist with a zipper, but the zipper doesn't cause any issues even when sleeping while camping. I really like that the zipper goes around the waist enough theat the whole top doesn't have to come off to use the restroom."

    Loved It!!!

I'm an "always cold" person when camping, but not with this ninja suit. It's a vital layering piece and super easy to maneuver when needing to use the restroom. I'm definitely going to purchase one or two more suits.

    toasty toasterson

the ninja suit is a staple in base layers by now. I have a couple pairs and bought this one for my girlfriend, They are cozy and nice to wear under your outerwear and dont add any bulk at all and when your done and get home they are the ideal thing to lounge around the house in !

    So Ideal For Layering!

    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Medium

AMAZING base layer!! The fit is very true to size, especially because it is not a tight fit. My only recommendation is to keep in consideration your height. I sized up to a medium just to have that length. I love this piece, it is so nice and easy to put on top of my layers and keep it smooth under my pants and jacket! I rarely wear this all by itself under my jacket and pants, unless I am going snowshoeing.

    Awesome baselayer

    • Size Bought: Large

This is my second Ninja Suit. I purchased my first about 5 years ago and I finally started wearing through it. This version is a bit softer than my last one and it still fits true to size. I got the Polar Brotanical print and it looks just like the picture. I wear mine as a baselayer and to lounge around.

    Layer Up!

    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Small

Awesome base layer all season long! I've used this all season and have yet to be cold. I love getting the back coverage from a one piece in case I eat it snow doesn't go up my back. I wanted a tight fit so I went with a small.

    Baselayer goodness

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size

I am madly in love with this base layer. I am typically a size M in tops and size 8 pants, and found the Medium to be the perfect size with this piece. The colors are bright and the material layers very well under other items. The zipper dropseat makes this onsie superior to others that lack this awesome feature. If you are looking for a killer base layer, this is the way to go!

THE baselayer to have, no other compares

A few years back I finally broke down and picked up a ninja suit, and will never go back - these things are awesome! I grabbed the Duckhunter Camo one this year, but here is a picture of some friends and I taking a 'ninja suit run' the day before our friend got married last season! Ninja suits do it all: keep you warm, keep the snow off your bare skin if you take a tumble, and the waist zipper makes it super easy to take care of business when you need to use the restroom. I wont go a season without one of these in my closet, I'm about 5'4'', 127 lbs with an athletic build and wear a size small, which fits great!

THE baselayer to have, no other compares

    • Fit: Runs small

I bought the Far Out Ninja Suit a month ago, right before moving to Colorado. I love it, I sleep in my ninja suit in my car every night in 0 to -10 degree weather and along with a good sleeping bag and a wool blanket this certainly keeps me warm. However they are made for short people, I am 5'7" 118lbs and had to get a medium, because the small doesn't cover my ankles. I'm even considering upgrading to the Merino Ninja Suit I love it so much.

BTW the 350 degree zipper is sooo handy for going to the bathroom or making love ;)
