Turn that frown upside down.
We know how you feel. You've been riding at this mountain for 12 years, and who let all these damn tourists on the lifts, anyway? Airblaster designed the Grumpy Jacket just for you, you bitter old bastard. You can even pretend they designed it 12 years ago, if it makes you feel any better.
To keep your brittle old bones from freezing on cold powder days and frigid nights, the Grumpy uses 100g synthetic insulation and a 10K-rated waterproof shell. Fully taped seams eliminate the typical weak spots in your waterproofing. The longer cut adds a little bit of protection and covers your plumber butt, so you can bend over to pick up a nickel without offending everyone behind you. Not that you would care about that, anyway. Zippered, mesh-lined underarm vents let you air out that musty old-man smell when you need to. Of course, Airblaster equipped the Grumpy with a pocket protector for your calligraphy pen or your hunting knife and elbow patches so you don't blow out the elbows the next time you have a coronary and hit the ground hard.
- Tough nylon shell (10K/10K)
- Fully taped seams
- 100g synthetic insulation
- Regular fit with long cut
- Mesh-lined, zippered underarm vents
- Dual-entry hand-warmer pockets
- Elbow patches and pocket protector

This jacket is so sick! The fit is absolutely awesome. I love the extra length. It looks good, provides extra warmth, and covers your bottom so its not soaked after sitting down two times. This thing is top notch quality. Im not afraid to wear this baby anywhere it can take a beating. Super heavy and super durable which is sick. I don't want to be buying a new jacket every year. The waterproofing and breathability are great no complaints there. Its pretty warm but definitely need layers underneath for windy/colder days. The pit vents are so sick. I use them all the time they work great. The wrist gaiters are epic too. I wear them all the time even when im not boarding. Plenty of pockets too. Just such a sick jacket. Only a couple minor complaints. 1 my phone gets super cold in any of the pockets in the jacket. I end up putting it in my hoodie pocket underneath. Not a big deal though.2 I wish the the powder skirt wasnt removable. Its hard to keep it zipped constantly and hangs out sometimes. But if it wasnt removeable people would be complaining about that. Not a big deal. 3 the sizes aren't super accurate. I usually am a large and especially with the longer fit i was a large. But i got an xl and its perfect. Other than that this jacket is insane. Buy it from dogfunk!

I bought this jacket at the beginning of the season and it's pretty much the only one in my collection that I have worn so far this year. Perfect amount of insulation. Layer up a little bit for those really cold days and not too much insulation for milder days. Great fit, I am 6'1" 180lbs and the jacket hits about mid thigh on me (ordered a XL) and is still a nice tailored cut. I got the burgundy and I like the color and the material of the jacket (in that colorway the material is a waxed canvas). Jacket has held up well with how often I use it. No complaints, I plan on keeping this jacket for many years.

Great boarding jacket for tall athletic guy. Thanks for the detailed descriptions on Dogfunk! I purchased this jacket as a gift for my 6'4" son...XXL was a great fit..not too bulky or boxy.
Great Overall Jacket
- Fit: True to size
I got this jacket in the two-tone twill color, size medium, and it looks and feels great. I love the texture of the jacket, as it feels canvas-y and, the color is nice and simple. The features are great too; I like the rear pocket a lot, and the dual-entry pockets are a nice touch. I also like how Airblaster's design team ditched the velcro in a lot of places for buttons; it really adds to the overrall retro feel. The cut is long as is stated, and the powder skirt is there if you need it. The jacket is also warm, and has plenty of room inside for layering. The only gripe I have is that the hood is not removable, but other than that, great jacket and I look forward to wearing it this winter.

I have owned heaps of jackets over the years and I end up selling them at the end of every season but this jacket will have to be pried from my cold dead fingers. The fit RULES! Its obviously longer but its so rad not to have snow sneak up into your undercarriage during the day. This thing is so warm. SO WARM. And when it heats up the huge pit vents save the day. Im 6'1" 175lbs and a large fits perfect. I found that the M would show my wrists too much when i stuck my hands out.. Anywhoo I hope to pass this jacket on to my son one day. SHRED ON!
