You shouldn't have to choose between sack-o'-bones baggy pants and the skinny pants you stole from your sister, and you don't thanks to the Airblaster Freedom Boot Pant. The Freedom Boot Pant features a boot-cut fit that's roomy enough for a baselayer while still having a touch of a tailored look. It isn't all about the look, but the look isn't bad either.

The Freedom Pant is made with tough nylon and shows up at your door with an 8K water-resistant rating. That's enough to shrug off light snow with a 'meh' and a bored look. Airblaster also taped the critical seams, so you don't have to worry about snow sneaking in through the back door (so to speak). If things really heat up, you can open the mesh-lined, zippered leg vents and release some heat. The Freedom pant also comes with leg gaiters with lace hooks to keep snow from getting in at the cuffs.

  • Nylon shell (8K/5K)
  • Critical seams taped
  • Tailored fit
  • Mesh-lined, zippered leg vents
  • Ankle zips

Here's what others have to say...

No waist adjustment

  • Familiarity:I returned this product before using it
  • Fit:Runs large

If you don't layer just enough, or have the exact waist size for these pants will have to wear a belt, there are no waist adjustments inside or out.

I don't like wearing belts on the mountain, they make the bulk of winter gear even more bulky and uncomfortable.

Also they fit a little big.

I like my snowboard clothes to look closer to street clothes, and I am 5'11 160lbs and these feel baggy on me. I thought a tailored look would be, well, more tailored...

I usually size down to small in all my airblaster gear, but wanted to go with a medium to see if they improved their fit, but it looks like they still have the same boxey fit, but honestly compared to most retailers I think Airblaster make some of the best fitting garments, I just need to find the piece that has the style I am looking for. Maybe the sissy pant?
