Pull on your Ahnu Women's Tilden II Sandals, and take your dog down by the creek. These sandals have arch support, EVA midsoles for shock absorption, and a TPU shank for stability as you weave through the brush to get to the water. Ahnu's grippy outsoles ensure you don't slip as you hop from rock to rock across the creek. Hydrophobic mesh uppers let water drain and dry quickly when you decide to cool your feet off in the current. Closed-toes protect your piggies from getting banged up on rocks or logs. The Tilden II's charred bamboo lining helps fight odor-producing microbes so these sandals don't get rank after a few days in the water or on the trail.
Bottom Line: Go jump in a lake while wearing your Ahnu Tilden IIs.
These sandals broke the first time that I wore them. The plastic clip snapped and they are now useless. Don't be cheap, by a nicer, more expensive pair because these are poor quality!
This begins to answer my question about how the quality of these compares with Tevas, which are made by the same company (Deckers Outdoor). The soles came off my Tevas after two days on a raft trip; sounds like Deckers doesn't do any better work with their Ahnu brand!
Since this shoe is made by Deckers Outdoor, the same company that manufactures all the Teva models that the soles fall off of (after a day or so of going in and out of the water while hiking--check the Teva reviews!), my question is: do Ahnu sandals fall apart, too?
These are quite possible the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned! True to size, very light weight. Perform equally well on land and in water. Two thumbs up!

I was looking for a new pair of water shoes after giving up on my Teva's (the hook and loop cut into my feet). I tried on Keens and these. I wanted to walk out of the store with them. The shoe is lightweight and the sole is comfortable. I never seem to get all the sand out but I just think of it as memories from the last trip or hike.
They looked comfy & I wanted so much to like these, but I could NOT get my foot inside them. I have an average width foot but the ankle area of this shoe could not be opened wide enough for me to get my foot all the way in, much less be securely closed. My guess is if you have a thin, narrow foot and ankle - these should be fine.
Sole feels almost like walking on slightly wet sand. Well made and secure fit. Bought this brand instead of Keen because of the look and positive reviews on this sandal. I am happy with my decision.
I am looking for a shoe that I can wear for general running around purposes. Vacuuming, gardening, walking the dog. I had back surgery in November and need a shoe with a VERY high arch support to keep my back from aching. Some sneakers have enough arch support but I want something lighter weight and without all the onerous lacing of a sneaker for the summer. Keen products do not have arch supports that are high enough for my foot. How do Ahnu shoes compare?
I have 3 pairs of Ahnu shoes, including the Tilden II, and I would say they have little arch support. I prefer pretty flat shoes, which is why I like these.
Very good sandal for in or around the water, camping, light hiking, and with the kids on the playground. Could be improved with a little more padding, but it feels fine on your feet after the first few days of wearing. The fit is on the snugger side (but it's not too snug) so your feet stable and secure. Traction and hold is very good. For me, a much better fit, feel and deal than Keen and other popular sandals.
I have a hard time buying shoes 'cause my feet are so narrow. These adjusted to fit really well. So glad I bought them for my adventure trip to Hawaii. They were great for hiking and swimming in the cool pools.
These are my favorite summer water shoes ever! They are extremely lightweight and I never had to break them in - I took them on a trip immediately after purchasing and never had any discomfort. I have Solomon Techamphibians and a few pairs of Chacos that I now never wear - and while I don't think these shoes are particularly good looking, the comfort is worth it.
