The Lodi were super comfy from the minute I put them on (all three pairs of my Ahnus have been). They're lightweight and the mesh keeps my feet cool. I wear them to run errands on my bicycle too. I wasn't sure I'd like the lace-lock system, but I do. They're like slip-ons you can tighten for a better fit.

Sure it is not a bad shoe at all for anything all terrain, running/biking etc. I would recommend getting biking shoes that have cleats ideally for anything, but these would do the trick if you cannot foot some more just for biking.

I walk several miles per day in hilly San Francisco--and these shoes feel great! They offer lots of cushioning for pavement--and have soles (with traction) for hiking SF's sometimes steep park dirt/rock trails. Besides all that, they're "cute"...
