Does the job!

This is a great light weight bivvy sack. It goes with me on every overnight hike/bike tour/alpine adventure. It has added about 5 degrees warmth on cold nights my slepping bag can't handel. Yes, the matieral is not very durable and the velcro sometimes sticks to the bag, but for the weight/warmth/value factor, its worth it.

nice product

I spent two months in the Honduran jungle using this bivvy sack. I punched a hole in the mesh vent and would slip it over my hammock like a sock. It kept me warm and protected from the torrential rain and bug bites.

Great Idea; Very Weak Material

By:

Got this for its' designed use.

I tore the material while separating the Velcro!! The material feels like 'quilt' toilet paper, and it tears like it too!

The product wrapper states that it's suppose to be 30% stronger than it's predecessor. Wow.

I would not want to trust this flimsy material with keeping me warm or being handled in an emergency situation if it can't deal with being gently handled in the comfort of one's home.
