Adventure Medical Comprehensive First Aid Kit - 2007 BCS

This is exactly what you need if you want a serious kit. I nice well-rounded kit that may save your life. There is also room to add more items or your personal medication. I didn't like the quality of the tweezers...that is about it.

"Comprehensive" really does say it all. Adventure Medical has put together a great assortment of equipment to address a wide range of injuries. It's also very well-organized, with myriad individual compartments, and handy reference instructions for everything. The kit folds down into a compact portable size. And it has just enough extra room to supplement with whatever specialty items you might want to add. (I beefed up the meds sections, added some more surgical steel, plus a couple tubes of Dermabond and some Celox, then went to town with the P-Touch labeler.)

Fully stocked with basic first-aid supplies. Plenty of room for add-ons, and everything comes well organized and marked. Lots of bandages, pads, and basic first-aid items. Good for trips, to keep in the car, or even as a medical kit for a house.

Spend the extra bucks and get this kit. If you are going backcountry or even not and your time away from the rat race is more than two days, and you do not want to worry about the downside of adventure, this is the kit for you and any friends of yours that you want to survive the mis-steps of living life outdoors. It's a little big so give it to whomever is not carrying the cooking equipment.

The pouch is well organized and labeled, with just about everything you might need in a really, compact case. My husband is a Dr. and wanted a little more room to add a few more tools, which is easy to do if you take out a few duplicates and wrap it tight.

I usually organize trips for large groups of friends, and this kit is perfect for our trips. On a recent trip to Mexico, it proved valuable when one trip participant scraped his toe while playing sand volleyball. This kit had all the necessary items in it to clean the wound (scissors, syringe, tweazers). If you're going to be out with a group larger than 10 people, this kit is definitely worth it!

After you get this kit, add a few kickass pain killers, an epi pen, and a couple extra rolls of athletic tape and you're set for just about anything that you can fix in the field. I've had some friends end a trip with some pretty nasty stuff, and this kit had everything I needed to get them stabilized.
