Best shoes I've worn

  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

I absolutely love these shoes. The search for a perfect shoe has come to a end for me. I love them so much I actually have 3 pairs of them. They're quality made, I've had my first pair for almost a year, and they're holding up very well. I use these as my every day shoe. They're water resistant to a point, been stuck in the rain with them and my feet stayed dry. The tread is nice and aggressive, work well on all surfaces. Plenty of support for all day on the feet activities. Overall, couldn't be happier, money very well spent.

Very happy

I and 6 other Boy Scouts wore the mid version of this shoe on a 5 day 50 mile backpacking trip. They were great. No one had issues and there was very little break-in needed. Very comfortable and a great fit.

Good overall shoe

Great looking shoe with a nice sturdy sole. A little heavy but that was to be expected. I hiked to the top of Mt Sherman in these guys the very first day I got them. They are a little stiff around the ankle but I had no blisters when I was done. Looking forward to taking these to Vietnam and Thailand in a couple weeks. They gore-tex layer should be quite helpful during rain season

i have a low volume narrowish foot and ankle. It's hard to get a good fit in hiking shoes. Would this adidas shoe work for me or is it too high volume and wide? I found that Salomon Tech Anphibian fits well. with that in mind what sturdy hiking shoes (for Himalayan trekking) would you recommend for me to try?
