Best water shoes for rafting

I am a whitewater rafting guide and am required to wear closed toed shoes to guide in. These are by for the best I have ever found. I work everyday and they dry almost completely for the next day. The durability is the best I have found compared to the Teva water shoe which pretty much fell apart after a few months. The bottom of the shoe has great traction for running on wet slippery rocks in rescue situations. I am about to order my second pair because I have pretty much worn this pair out but considering what I put these shoes through it is well worth it. The toe box is a bit big so maybe ordering a half size small would be best unless you are trying to fit neoprene socks or a dry suit into them. I don't often wear them in barefeet as the stitching on the inside did rub my feet a little however I rarely work in warm enough water to warrant bare feet anyways.

Fit is off

This shoe says it is for ladies but I think it really isn't. The front area of the shoe is really spacious as if it was meant for a mans foot. Flipping the heel down and walking on it really isn't all that comfortable so it is a feature I would not likely use much. Not really happy with these - am returning - am happy about that.

Responded on

I had the exact same experience, and mine were defective to boot. One shoe was much smaller than the other (approximately one whole size) although they were labeled the same size. Returning mine as well.

Great for White Water Rafting

These are great for rafting as they drain well and fast, have great traction and are comfortable. The only drawback is the seaming across the tops of your toes. When your feet are under the supports, while you are trying to hold on during the rapids, the seaming rubs on your toes--not very comfy after a few hours. Other than that, great shoe
