Great water shoes - less flexible than some alternatives

Used this for kayaking, stand up paddle boarding and rafting. They're great for that and they drain really quickly as you get out of water. I think they're less flexible for all round camp/trail use though that other alternatives such as Keens. Reason being the holes in the sole.

Wore these deep sea fishing in Florida to rocking the hot summer in Utah. They are really breathable and drain fast. They offer gear support and protection. They run true to size. My only problem is that the mesh footbed can feel awkward and rubs. If your looking for a great pair of water shoes, you can't go wrong with these. They look snazzy tool!

Considering buying these shoes... Everything I have read makes them sound great for being in/around water, but how comfortable are they as just a casual, bumming-around-town kind of shoe? Also thinking about wearing them as a trail/approach shoe for rock climbing since they are lightweight and breathe well. Anybody have any insight?

I bought a pair and thought they were great for rafting and stand-up paddle boarding. They're ok for wearing around, but I'd recommend against them for trail/approach shoes. The first reason is there are holes in the sole itself and I suspect they'll just fill up with dirt and grit. Second, I'd be uneasy using them for light climbing/scrambling that you might need to handle on approach - haven't tried them for this though, just a person opinion.

Bought these for myself in women's and bought my husband these ones since mine were so great. We both love them, great for in and out of water and light hiking, our go to shoes for the summer when we'll be in and out of water.

does this water sneaker come in an extra wide width ?

Standard width and I thought they perhaps ran a little bit small for size.

What about the socks ? Because if you wet the shoes and they get dry quickly the socks will stay wet... bollocks !! can you wear the shoes without socks and be sure not to have a blister ?

Best Answer Responded on

Most people do not wear socks with any type of water shoe like this one.
