So comfy!

These slippers are seriously like walking on clouds! So soft and comfy. Nice and warm, too (I am always freezing, during Winter).
I would say they run a about a half size big. I wear a 6.5 shoe, but the size small (5-6) fits perfectly (I had read other reviews, on other sites, stating that they ran a little big).

Just wanted to update, now that I have had these slippers for a couple months. They definitely did not live up to my first impression. They are warm, but, the soft memory foam cushioning broke down pretty quick. I tried washing the slippers, hoping that it would plump up the cushioning, but it did not work. After a couple months wear, these slippers are no better (comfortable) than any other store bought brand. Sadly, Acorn missed the mark with the Tex Moc Slipper.

Comfy and Warm

Nice slippers for winter. Hard sole protects your feet when running into the garage, taking out the trash, picking up the mail. They are slippers, so I'm not looking to go on long walks in them. Perfect for lounging around the house.

Do these slippers run true to size? If I wear a 5 1/2 shoe, will I fit into a small or would they be too big?

Toasty!

To be honest, I was hoping for a little more support (arch/cushion) in these slippers, but overall they're pretty nice. They do keep my toes very toasty, even in my freezing Wisconsin home, and they keep my feet dry from the snow puddles that inevitably form on the floor. So I don't know that I'd get them again, but they're pretty decent if you're just looking for something warm & cozy.

Smilie, I agree the sole is a bit too spongy. Next time try the Acorn Chinchilla collar slipper. The sole is thinner and stiffer and has better arch support.

They do the job!

I bought these for an upcoming ski trip, because there always seems to be puddles on the chalet floor and one can only pack so many socks. The hard sole on the bottom is a very nice touch so I can take the garbage outside without getting the bottoms all wet. They are warm and stay on your feet when you go up and down stairs. Because falling sucks.

comfy but not long-lasting

I've had these for about 2 years now and can't bring myself to throw them away, but have stopped using them. They're warm and comfy, but even indoors, the white material on the top gets dirty and dingy very quickly, and mine also pilled. As for the underfoot material, it felt like a cloud when I first got these, but has since flattened out quite a bit.

Are these machine or hand washable?

Are these machine or hand washable?

They are but I'd recommend the hand wash cycle w/o fabric softner. Just in case you haven't worn Acorn's before, they're remarkable!!!Hope that helps.

comfy and very warm

Very warm - almost too warm for in the house if you use heat. Very soft and comfortable. One problem - the dogs think the slippers are furry creatures and try to eat them.
