Acorn blurs the boundaries between slippers and shoes to create footwear that goes where you do ... or don't, as the case may be if you spend the day lounging in your Acorn Slipper Socks at your ski cabin. Acorn founder David Quinn created the Slipper Sock more than 30 years ago, based on childhood memories of padding around in old-fashioned slippers with socks attached during family ski vacations. His goal was to bring "comfort on earth" to his customers. Since then, Acorn has developed numerous slippers, shoes, sandals, and socks for customers who value quality, workmanship, performance, innovative design, and comfort. Among Acorn's customers are NASA astronauts who've logged 500 million miles in their Acorns. Comfort on earth? Quinn has brought comfort to being in orbit too.
