You just spent your afternoon running, backcountry skiing, triathaloning, or doing some other form of training and sweating a lot. Mix the Accelerade Endurox R4 Recovery Drink powder with your water and recover quickly and come back strong tomorrow. Accelerade uses a four-part-carbohydrate to one-part-protein ratio that enhances hydration, increases endurance, and accelerates post-exercise muscle recovery. It can be hard to replenish quickly enough and with the right mix of ingredients after training for over an hour. Endurox R4 Recovery Drink powder replenishes muscle glycogen levels 128% more than a carbohydrate drink.

Bottom Line: Feel better after your multi-hour exercise, and come back strong for your next training session.

Worth the price, easily.

I was skeptical about the reviews for this product before I purchased the Endurox, but bought it anyway. How could a recovery drink make such a difference? I still don't know, but I am re-ordering before I run out of this amazing stuff. My workouts are not extreme. 3-4 runs per week. 5-7 miles per work out, plus some cross-fit. At 41 yro, I am just trying to maintain and this stuff get rid of the soreness. I look forward to my next workout and am getting more from them.

Expensive, But Worth It.

If you're like me, and don't like to stop playing, then I highly recommend Endurox. I swam competitively for ten years, and used this for the last two when it first came onto the market. It helped a lot. Since then, I've used it a few times when I've been not looking forward to the soreness/stiffness after a day of serious hiking or biking. The next day, I could hardly even tell that I had done a grueling day the day before. Use it if you tend to beat up your body one day and need it to perform again the next. You will notice a difference. If you're just a casual athlete, or work out once in a while, don't fork out the money for it. It's not gonna help you much in the long run.

Magic Powder!

By:

If the price seems high its because it works. I used this stuff 3-6 times per week when i was doing 11- two hour work outs per day and when i used this i felt so much better going into the next workout. I felt like I had taken a day or two off when it had only been 12 hours since i finished my last work out. I recommend the red stuff (Fruit Punch) and make sure you have a good water bottle to mix it in. You really need to shake it a ton to get it to dissolve. Buy it, trust me, it will help you.

you need this stuff

I've been running for several years and doing triathlons for a few years, too. This stuff is great! The powder doesn't always completely dissolve into the water, but most of it does. The flavors I've tried taste pretty good and don't really taste like a sports drink. This is a great recovery drink that will indeed help you feel better after the hardest of workouts.

Every day like clockwork

By:
December 29, 2008

I've run some marathons and I've raced some triathlons ... and I've been sore. I've never worked out as hard as in the past 6 months with extremely intense weight lifting. Every morning hitting the gym with a squirt bottle of endurox for a 1.5 hour workout. If I don't have it there is a noticeable increase in fatigue and soreness the next day. It has your important protein with the carbs but also has some BCAA's which are vital for muscle growth and recovery. Mix it with a little glucosamine and take care of your muscles and your joints. It is well worth the money.

Works well, a bit pricey

By:
October 2, 2008

As a recovery drink this is a pricey choice at about $2.50 a serving (I drink 2 servings), so no fifth star. It really works better though. On that fourth full day on the slopes (for a city guy), even a little extra spring in your legs is noticeable. I drink it at the end of the day, the protein sends blood to my stomach and makes me feel sluggish if I'm still trying to go. I also run a few marathons a year, and it helps with recovery, but it is most noticeable when you're stacking exertion on back to back days.

I'm a big fan. I used the Endurox recovery drink with accelerade (fruit punch flavor) for the Northwest Passage Ragnar Relay (189 miles) and drinking one of these after each leg of my race helped a ton.
