A pack that can take the bad weather with the good.

You've strategically placed your rain jacket in the top pocket of your new Deuter Aircontact 55+10 Backpack, so it's as easy to access as the pack's integrated rain cover when the weather takes a turn for the worse.  Another smart move was to fill the expandable area with a medium-weight fleece and extra food because it looks like this spring squall is more than just a shower.

  • Aircontact Trail System features two breathable back panel pads with an air channel between them that 'pump' to push air up and out while you hike
  • Vari Flex system features a pivoting hip-belt design to allow the pack to move slightly without over-shifting
  • X-Frame stabilizes the load and transmits the energy down to the hip belt
  • Expanded volume feature offers simple size increase when you need to bring along extra food or gear
  • Hydration pocket compatible with a 3L bladder (not included)
  • SOS label on the inside folds out to announce distress when you need help
  • Wet pocket keeps soiled or damp clothes separate from the rest of the contents
  • Integrated rain cover keeps the main body of the pack and its contents dry

Has everything you need

This pack has everything you need, plus it's adjustable. You can change the placement of the shoulder straps up or down quite a bit making it possible for both me and my wife to use this. Has plenty of pockets and storage in all the right places.

Awesome Pack! Great for a few days away.

  • Gender: Male
  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I really like this pack. Its great for a weekend get away in the mountains or wherever. I took it on a Rim to Rim camp out at the Grand Canyon and on a few weekend hikes. It a great bag with all the storage you would need for a shorter trip. The only down side is there is no rain tarp.
