A new jersey on the block.
While something of a new kid on the block, 7mesh Industries has quickly gained a reputation for impeccable attention to fit and fabric functionality and a penchant for classic, clean design. The new Women's Britannia Short-Sleeve Jersey continues to build that tradition with carefully chosen fabrics and a tailored cut.
7mesh uses Omega knit to create a jersey that fits close to the body and whisks moisture away during even the hardest of efforts. This fabric also features a high amount of mechanical stretch, so it moves with you as you ride without overstretching and losing its shape.
For the little details, 7mesh includes a full-length zipper for extra ventilation options on the fly. Three open rear pockets provide ample space to carry a spare tube and your favorite snacks along for the ride, and two zippered security pockets to hold your phone, wallet, or other small valuables.

The new go-to jersey
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
- Fit: True to size
After many months of ordering (and returning) jerseys, I've found the one for me. I love the 2 zip pockets, which easily fit my phone and small wallet on either side. I love the color, which is "unnatural" green, so higher visibility. As for fit, it is looser in the middle, and I like that. I bought a medium, though probably could wear the small. On the first riding day that I had to decide whether to try this or a light purple Giordana trade scatto, my husband, who generally thinks all jerseys should be form fit, said the Zmesh looked like it fit me, and that the Giordana purple color did not look the same and also would blend in with sun-setting evenings. I've ridden the zmesh now on 2 rides in lower 80s temps, and it felt great. I hope for them to make a bright red or yellow as a second jersey.

I have this jersey in the dark purple color, which is even richer and more beautiful in person than the photo shows. I liked the jersey fine for the first few rides I took it out on, but it wasn't until I wore it mountain biking that I really appreciated it. I skidded into a tree and got scratches on my arms and torso, but the jersey was completely fine--no rips, snags, or pulls in the fabric at all. I have a pretty decent sized scrape across my stomach, but the jersey doesn't show a mark at all, which I'm pretty impressed with. The fabric is soft and cool, and it has structure to it without being so heavy that I'll need to put away when I start riding in hotter weather. My one complaint would just be fit--I wish 7mesh went with a slightly more tailored midsection for the jersey. It fits beautifully through the arms and has a shorter body that adapts to a riding position really well, plus wide, high-quality grippers on the waist hem to hold it in place. Aside from a boxy cut around the waist, the jersey feels high-end and is tough to find fault with. I didn't know much about 7mesh before, but I'll definitely be paying attention to more of their kit from now on.
