If you hate walking around in your tight little long-johns after a day of riding, then we have good news. The 686 Men's Smarty Uzi Snowboard Pants include a pair of removable fleece track pants that leave something to the imagination. This 3-in-1 setup lets you customize the amount of warmth you need for the day. Wear the liner pants with the waterproof breathable shell when it's freezing-ass cold, forget them when it's warm, and wear them alone to get a bev at the gas station on your way home from the mountain. If'n ya done gone and weared too many layers, unzip the inseam vents to keep cool. These fully seam taped pants feature ports for your Boa Focus dials so you don't have to mess around with your gaiters every time you want to tighten your Boa boots. 686 gave the Uzi Pants tons of pockets, including a tool stash pocket with a custom 686 board tool inside.

686 makes great stuff, and these pants are no exception. I have a pair of Smarty pants from last year and the minor changes are great touches. For example, the liner pants have mesh vents that line up with the zip vents on the outer pants. Very effective for cooling down and controlling sweat and other crotch nastiness. The outer material is super durable. The lighter color is a magnet for stains but ends up looking better with a few splotches (think broken in pair of shoes). Liner adds warmth without bulk but some of the plastic buttons used are junk and broke the first day out. Fit was right on. Bottom line: Great pair of pants for all conditions.
