These pants are super comfy, warm and have pockets for everything. The removable liner is a great feature for those warm & dry days.

I bought these pants for my boyfriend about 5 years ago, they were on sale on Dogfunk for 79 bucks! These pants are unbelievably durable, he's been wearing these pants for 5 years, his only pair. My boyfriend loves that these pants has many pockets, tons of stuff that he could stash in them, easy access to the cargo pockets, it's great for the days he is not wearing a backpack. The only issue he has with the pants is that the zip off liner can get heavy when he hikes, otherwise it is super warm. Most days he rides without the liner because of the weight, otherwise these pants will last years!

Still the best pants!

these are some dope pants. its basically a pair of sweatpants you can zipper in and out of snow pants. there are also extra little things that really come through. goggle wipes in one of the pockets, a hook for your gloves on the waist, even a little pocket built into one of the belt loops. and whoever thought of using velcro around the buttons is a genius. cant go wrong. Im 6 feet tall have a 32 waist and i got the mediums, they fit just a tiny bit too big, but thats what you want in snow pants anyways. dont even need a belt because of the little velcro tighteners around the belt loop.

Some years ago I found ski pants to be lacking the same versatility as snow board pants. That was 7 years ago. I just purchased my third pair of the 686 Smarty Pants. If a cuff guard were added to prevent ski edge cuts, the pants would be perfect. Warm on the coldest of days, these pants are.

if you haven't had a pair of 686 smarty cargo pants at some time you are missing out.
this pant changed how i layered for snowboarding.
with the liners zipped in, they are plenty warm around all the windy cold days in the rockies.
there are so many features in this pant they are hard to list. my favorite is the reinforced heel panels and gusseted crotch. these pants are durable, warm and hold up.

Nice try 686 staffer...

But it's all true! HA! Loved these since day one, and they will last for freakin ever! I don't use the liner much since I'm on the Beast Coast, but it's nice to know that I have quick install insulation, should I need it.

These pants are a 3-in-1 pant! The inside liner removes, to make them a very thin, nice pant overall! They are very warm, and keep you dry on the coldest days! The cargo pocket is a great feature, to store all of your extra "stuff" in. These pants fit and look great as well! You can't go wrong with this one!
