Rated for good waterproofing and decent breathability, the polyester herringbone face leaves you high and dry with a comfortable, happy torso not drowning with melting snow. In addition, 686 taped the critical seams on the jacket where sneaky snow is most likely to enter. Nylon taffeta and brushed tricot combine to create a blanket-like lining you'll want to feel on your skin, though a baselayer is probably a better choice. Polyester mesh Air-Flo vents underneath each arm and through the chest pocket allow the crisp mountain air to get all close and personal with your over-heating body.
