Description

Limited, lined, and looking oh-so-fresh.

686 came together with New Balance to reintroduce the Men's 580 Shoe, a trail runner born in the 90's and previously available only from exclusive Japanese retailers. Inside these limited-edition whips lies a 200g liner fit for chilly trail running or frigid days two-stepping around the mountain with your boombox. Boombox extra heavy? A graphite posting system helps to stabilize your ankle and midfoot so you won't risk a nasty sprain, and an anti-shock midsole sucks up all that extra weight so your feet won't feel fatigued at the end of a rough day of... chilling. Spit polish the tonal textured toes and hit the street, you've got a pair of rare kicks to shoe off, uh, we mean show off.

Here's what others have to say...

are these shoes waterproof?

are these shoes waterproof?

Responded on

These shoes do have a waterproof Gore-Tex membrane, which will keep water from penetrating through the shoe material to your feet. That said, water cannot be kept from slipping around the tongue of the shoe, so if you're in more than 2-3 inches of water, expect your feet to get wet.
