Your version of the blue-steel modeling pose is definitely an improvement on the original, but it isn’t going to get you much play when it’s hidden behind goggles and a bandana. When your face is incognito, it’s best to let your pants do the posing for you. 686’s Mannual Alloy Insulated Pants have the design you need to catch people’s attention without skimping on performance features like waterproof breathable fabric and fully taped seams.

  • 686 made the outer shell with Infinidry 10 fabric treatment, which provides 10K waterproofing and 8K breathability to help shed outside precipitation and allow excess internal heat and moisture to escape
  • 40g of insulation retains just enough heat on cold days, but not so much that your nads will get overly-sweaty come spring
  • Gusseted crotch and articulated knees provide extra room and freer movement
  • Snow gaiters come with boot hooks and sock guards to keep them in place and the snow where it belongs
  • Internal waistband adjusters allow you to optimize the fit

Best pants in the whole world!!!!

if god snowboarded, he would ware these.

    great pants

I wear a size 33 in jeans. Bought the large size b/c my mediums (Burton Cargo's) were getting a bit snug from gaining a few LBs. they were plenty big enough. pulled the velcro straps on the side to tighten them up a bit. I also wore a pair of impact shorts and knee pads under them and had plenty of room with more to spare. but not too baggy at all. Would definitely buy another color if they had more in my size. also, great waterproofing and great insulation. almost got too hot with the first layers too.

The day I got these pants I threw on some basketball shorts and these over them and worked great. never had a issue coming down the mountain and the pockets work magnificantly! the are fold over with zippers or velcrow and i never worried about losing my walket or camera. the Insulation workedamazing too i was always in perfect comfort;not to hot and not too cold.

These pants are amazing they are bright red, and so warm. All I wear is long underwear under and im toasty the hole day. they fit pretty baggy on me and im like 6 ft and 160 lbs. and I got a large. These pants are awesome, the vents are great on warm days to cool off and the pockets are located where if you fall, it's pretty difficult to break a phone, ipod, bowl, etc.

          Super warm and dry

I wore these pants for the first time on a powder day, and it was snowing. They kept me nice and warm all day even with just b ball shorts and long socks on under. They are really awesome pants, I love them.

Um Im a chick how low does the crotch hit cause I dont want it at my knees since I wear pants on my hips... Also is it a true red? Bright?

Just buy some pants made for women so they will actually fit you correctly...

I would but I hate the way womens pants fit for boarding. Mens are far more comfortable dunno why

Will you get the tobacco color in a large in anytime soon?

            Nope, none are expected.

            I'm 6'3", 205 lbs. I wear 36" waist pants with some 34" and some 36" inseams. Large or x-large?

Whatup benw, size large fits 34-36 inch waists, XL is 36-39. Inseam on these are 32 and 32.5 respectively. So I would say for these pants, you'll want XL. However, we do offer a different 686 pant in "tall" sizes. Here's the URL...

the 686 Smarty Original Cargo Talls, size large have an inseam of 34 and the XLs have inseam of 34.5. Really I think you'll be happier with these. Snowboarding in highwaters is not the coolest.

What size should I go with, im a little over 6 ft and about 185 lbs and I wear size 33 waist pants, I kinda want it to be a little baggy. Thanks

686 is sized generously. You could go for a medium and they will be regular fitting in the waist and a little baggy through the legs, or you could size up to Large for some more bagginess.

do they have vented zip inseam?

            Love these pants!

These are awesome! Very light and still warm! They fit a lil on the baggy side which is what I like. You can't go wrong with the price!
