686 does this great thing—they make relaxed jerseys like the Lowrider specifically for riding, so you don’t look like a human sausage when you strip down in the lodge. Polypropylene fabric is hydrophobic, so it stays totally dry while your midlayer or component jacket does the wicking. Dry means warm, and warm means happy.

This can be used for skiing just fine. 686 is a snowboarding specific company but "riding" a snowboard is no different then "riding" ski's. Buy it!
