This is not super waterproof or very insulated. Recommended use is "casual wear".

This is pretty much my new favourite jacket. Like the guy before said, it's not too heavy but not too light. The coldest it's been so far is about -7 Celsius and I was pretty toasty with just a t-shirt. It looks frickin amazing (you can wear it out to a pub, or to a wedding because it looks so snazzy). Wind doesn't even touch this thing (well it does, but it doesn't get through :P). Haven't gotten it wet yet but I'm pretty confident it will crush the rain as well. The only thing I will say is that when I first got it, the waist was a bit restricting as it doesn't stretch too much. After wearing it for about a week, it got better. Definitely recommend this coat to anyone who wants to look awesome while being warm and dry at the same time.

It's more like a waterproof fleece than a shell, should work great for walking to school in the snow.

This jacket is exactly what I wanted. Not to heavy or light, just perfect. Multi-purpose, rain-proof and it's good enough to take it on a light ski/snow board trip. Overall the dimensions also fit perfect to your body. The pin stripes just makes the jacket look so formal and casual at the same time. I've gotten over 20 comments about the jacket so far.It was a good buy. It actually makes me wanna buy the other colour -- it's that good. =)
Nope. This jacket is intended more for casual everyday use than anything strenuous enough to need pit zips.
