This jacket is very warm. I live in Utah and this jacket is going to keep me warm all winter. It does great in the snow and cold. I love that the insides of the front pockets have the pull cords to adjust the bottom or "skirt" of the jacket.
The only drawback that I have experienced so far is that the velcro on the front of the jacket catches on the designs on the sleeve and the front of the jacket right next to the velcro. I can't really think of anyway the designers of this coat could have fixed this so really it is a non-issue. It just makes that part of the design "artwork" a little fuzzy.
Did I mention this coat is really warm and keeps the wind out very well. The zip up vests on the underarms are very important when you start heating up while doing fun outdoor activities. Great jacket.
