What's the point of a waterproof shell if it gets all swampy on the inside? As 66 North Iceland's most technically advanced shell, the Women's Glymur Jacket offers an impenetrable barrier against the elements, but won't turn you into a steamy sweatbox. The Glymur's 3-layer eVENT fabric represents the next generation of waterproof breathable materials. It blocks all water and allows your heat to escape directly through the material, which prevents any moisture build-up inside. This means that the Glymur Jacket was tailor-made for athletes who push their limits—for ski touring, ice climbing, or as a burly rain jacket in harsh climates. An integrated, dual-adjustable hood fits over a helmet; core venting pockets drop excess heat; a drop tail blocks snow and rain; and pre-shaped elbows provide unrestricted movement.

Bottom Line: 66 North Iceland's absolute best, most technically advanced shell.
