Description

They know what skiing's all about.

Kids love the pow-pow, which is why 4FRNT made the fat (proportionately), reverse-camber Kids' Grom Ski, ready for first tracks and face shots. A big-kid's rockered ski with matching, smooth-sailing Reflect Tech rails seamlessly without tip hook or tail washout. A moved-back Contour Core gives the little rippers a better center balance, especially helpful in fresh snow. Cap construction and a high-density foam core keep weight to a minimum for easy maneuverability. After all, groms know it's way funner floating through blower than making linked pizza-fries under the chair.

  • Junior all-mountain ski
  • Reverse camber profile with full radius rocker along length of ski
  • Reflect Tech sidecut-rocker matching
  • Contour Core women's specific centered weight
  • Asymmetrical directional shape
  • Cap construction
  • High-density, mold-injected foam core with fiberglass laminate
  • Two-piece edge

The 2013 grom.

  • Gender: Male
  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

We bought our 10yr old son the grom for the times he wasn't racing and just wanted to crush the mountain. The price is good and he has now skied them for almost 2 seasons. He has probably put close to 40 full ski days on them skis. He skied Alta last season skied several of the chutes and bowls loves black diamond runs. He loves them... He wants to get the new groms. He loves tree skiing and hitting the jumps any chance he gets. We usually leave them in our Rocket Box so we don't forget them. Hard on skies but they still look good and not breaking down at all.

Great Looking Ski But...

  • Gender: Male
  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Our 10 yr old son, a member of our local mtn. freestyle team, got the new GROMM's, GREAT LOOKING Ski, he was happy, unfortunately the didn't hold up, our opinion is the ski's construction is far to light.
The Damage: looked like a shark bite from the tip and tail, perhaps a tip n tail cap installed? would help?

On the Bright Side BACK COUNTRY was awesome to work with on an exchange!!! Great Job - Will Recommend Back Country!
