4FRNT designed the Devastator Ski to do one thing: everything. The jury's still out on its ski ballet chops, but there's no doubt about its powder, big-mountain, and hardpack performance, which all starts with the new Reflect Tech design. Fully rockered skis like the Devastator have traditionally had trouble edging consistently, but Reflect Tech matches the rocker radius to the sidecut radius, offering smooth and predictable edging and providing more effective edge as you lay the ski over. This lets you rail aggressive turns at speed and break out of them in a hurry to dump speed, hit a cliff, or slash a giant spray-turn right in the photog's face. The wood core's been wrapped up in 4FRNT's semi-cap construction, which blends a cap's light weight with a sidewall's strength and durability and also decreases swing weight for a jibbier, more maneuverable ski. Don't confuse maneuverable with wimpy, though—the Devastor's a charger, and it'll help you take your game to the next level.
