Description

Size matters.

When you step up to big airs in high consequence terrain the size of your DIN matter. The 4FRNT Attack 16 Ski Binding has a DIN range of 5-16, so you won't have to worry about ejecting on your landings anymore. This lower-profile ski binding stands at only 17 millimeters tall for a streamlined look, and reduced-weight performance. For safety, the full diagonal FR Pro toe piece provides 180-degrees of release to protect from twisting falls. An oversized AFD ensures against release-stopping friction, and the fully adjustable toe height lets you maximize performance by getting a snug fit with your alpine boots.

  • 5-16 DIN range
  • Fully adjustable toe height
  • Extra-wide AFD (anti-friction device)
  • FR Pro toe piece
  • Race Pro heel with extra wide platform

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

4FRNT and Tyrolia have done it again. A high DIN binding that looks good, doesn't weigh a ton, and has a reliable and predicable release. Black/Red with some subtle logos look really good. Switching from a metal binding to these primarily plastic bindings, had me just a little nervous. However, after almost 30 days towards the end of the season, the Attack 16's kept me locked in. I rag-dolled pretty good after catching an edge just heading back to the lift, and that was the one and only time they popped off...good thing too, otherwise I would have been asking for a new knee.

Pros- good looking, affordable price, reliable release, adjustable AFD, and durable
Cons- non
