The 3T ARX Pro stem is identical in almost every way to the ARX Team stem. In fact there are only 2 differences of note: (1) The ARX Pro uses a steel bolt package instead of the Team's titanium bolts. This results in a net weight difference of 30g, with the ARX Pro weighing in at 150g. (2) The Pro has a White stripe down the side. The Team gets a Red stripe.

Structurally speaking, the ARX Pro and Team are the same stem. They're both forged for strength, and they both pass the same battery of DIN and CEN certification tests. With the Pro you end up a few extra grams due to its steel bolts, but you save a pocketful of dollars. It's available in 10mm increments between 90mm-130mm. The stack at the steerer clamp is 40mm tall. It comes in a 31.8mm clamp size only.

  • Aluminum alloy for stiffness and strength
  • Four-bolt faceplate distributes force across a larger section of the handlebar, making it ideal for composite bars
  • Stainless steel bolts won’t rust, so you’re safe in all conditions

Not many options for 17 degree rise stems. This is one and it works just fine. Looks good too.

It's a stem

  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

But it's a good looking, fairly lightweight and reliable stem. Stainless steel bolts are solid, no problems on install or removal. Side to side it's plenty stiff, comparable to much higher priced options. Love the variety in length and angle it's offered in as well.

Hi, does anyone know what is the spec on the 4 bolts? I have a ARX-Pro stem with an Ergonova Pro Handlebar. Is it 5N.m?

The ARX team is on my bike and that's 5nm per the stem. The team should be the same or worse than the pro since the bolts are TI vs alloy.

Nice and clean.

If you need a good solid stem and you are not a total weight weenie this one is for you. I use this stem on two of my bikes . Never had any issues killer stem and light to boot.

Best price/weight/quality ratio

Very solid, steel bolts give zero problem, stem looks good and weighs in the neighborhood of 135g depending on size.

So good you will forget it. I guess that is the most compliment a stem could get?

Simple, Lightweight, & Stiff

  • Familiarity:I've used it several times

Super light and stiff for a good price. Tons of different length/angle options. Simple graphics that go with pretty much anything and look kosher flipped up or down. When paired with a 3T handlebar, the logo face stands out.

If you flip the -17 stem do you get +17...

If you flip the -17 stem do you get +17 of rise?

Yes, relative to the angle of your top tube. That would be quite a bit of rise. If you want a positive rise, most people stick with a stem in the 6-8 degree range.

Great Stem!

After a fitting I knew that I need a slightly shorter stem, so I looked and looked everywhere online to find the best reviewed. Well this one is it!
It is super light, stiff, and all in all, looks good!
Installation was a breeze, now all I need to do is ride to see about the durability.

    great stem

great stem, stiff, light, much lighter than the stock stem on my 2005 allez which it replaced. the graphics look nice, and it's a overall a high quality piece. i was tempted to buy the next model up, the TEAM stem, but after reading several instances of sheared titanium bolt heads, and considering it's only a 5 or 10 gram weight savings for an extra $35, this seemed like enough. not to mention that many high-end bikes, including a good portion of cervelo's high end builds, use this same stem.

      great product

I have a pinarello prince. In regards to steerer tube diameter, would this stem fit for my bike?

Yup, fit's all 1 1/8inch steer tubes including the Prince.
