X Lite Membrane Women's Jacket

As we're sure that you've learned, wet weather isn't always cold weather. Unfortunately, we've all experienced the irony of getting wet from the inside out after over-dressing for rainy weather. It's just wrong. For this reason, 2XU created an ultralight and breathable rain shell with the X Lite Membrane Women's Jacket. Now, you'll remain dry, through and through.

2XU's X Lite Membrane jacket was sewn using a multi-panel design that gives that gives it an enhanced, anatomic fit, which leads to an exact placement of windproof and breathable fabrics. When you look at the front of the jacket, you'll notice panels of 2XU's X Lite membrane across the chest and down the arms. This breathable, wind-blocking material keeps cool air from penetrating the jacket and pulling warm air away from your core. And though it isn't waterproof, this fabric is water-resistant, leaving you protected from light rain storms and road spray. Breathable micro-nylon material was used on the under arms, sides, and lower back, where heat commonly builds up. The thermo-regulating fabric allows moisture and heat to escape, while also keeping you warm and dry.

This jacket's fabrics and intelligent panel design keep you warm, but it's the small yet important details in the jacket that keep you comfortable during long rides. The Membrane has a tall collar that sits close around the neck to keep cold air from finding its way in when the full-length zipper is fully zipped. Meanwhile, an inner-pocket is capable of holding your spare tube and a packable layer. And lastly, the bottom hem of the jacket has been finished with an elastic gripper to hold it in place. Reflective elements throughout the jacket will also increase your visibility to motorists in low-light conditions.
