Side-hilling up icy slopes isn't ever any fun, but the boys at 22 Designs are trying to make it a little bit easier with the Axl Ski Crampon. It clips easily onto the toepiece of the Axl telemark binding and pivots with your foot, so it digs in when you're flat-footed but doesn't catch when you're rolled up on your toes.
