Finest Kind

I bought this hoodie for my wife with considerable skepticism. An expensive, long-sleeved hoodie in the Missouri Ozarks in summer? Not likely. But she loves it. Says it actually keeps her cool. And it certainly keeps the sun off of her skin, reducing dangerous consequences. What a treat to find a product that works.

Lightweight, but full coverage. Super comfortable for travel, and I hiked one day in it. I'm 5' 4" 118 lbs, and size small fits perfectly- slightly roomy so it looks nice, not too clingy.

Super white girl didn't burn!! 🤣

I bought 2 of these for a trip to Universal Studios/Islands of Adventure. It was about 200 degrees out and a UV index of 1000 the 2 days I was there. (OK, slight exaggeration, but super hot and sunny nonetheless.) I didn't get burnt AT ALL!! I didn't put on sunscreen under the shirt either. I'm VERY happy with the purchase. I did get drenched on one of the rides and it doesn't dry quite as quick the typical UV "fishing" shirts I'm used to, but no issues with it. I bought a medium (blue/green/black camo) and a large (purple) since I wasn't sure of the fit, both work fine but I think I liked the looser fit of the large better. They are VERY stretchy. (41bust, 36waist)

Crater Lake hike or bike shirt
This is my fourth one. Like the lightweight, cool in summer. I am petite size that for medium size stay's longer on my torso. The pull tie not helpful as much. I may put elastic band instead.

I LOVE these tops, be it for sailing, mountain biking, hiking, what have you, but I must echo the sentiments of other women: PLEASE get rid of the drawstring! The first thing I do when I get another one of these shirts is cut the drawstring out. Otherwise, they’re perfect!

Nice and light
Fits great more snug in the arms and just right in the body and length. Wore this the other day doing some gardening and it lets a cool breeze come through nicely. Looking forward to trying it out on some hot Arizona hikes and some days on the lakes paddle boarding. Actually I can fit my phone or sunglasses in the one tiny pocket.

Actually worth the money
I've been using this hoodie for 2 years now without issue. The only annoying part is the drawstrings placed in the front, I find them unnecessary and in the way when you go to the bathroom in nature, but otherwise this was is one of my best purchases. From glaciers to day hikes, it's top tier.

Love it!

I replaced the previous version of this hoodie with the new one. Maybe I’m bigger but I sized up so it wouldn’t be tight. 5’6” 125 libs, broad shoulders long arms, took a medium. If you’re a smaller small you’ll be ok. Fit is great. Blurple color is great. The string everyone complains about? Yeah, but not a dealbreaker.

A staple for any outdoor wardrobe
Love this shirt! It's my go-to light, active layer. I've worn it on countless bouldering trips for full days in the sun and have never gotten sunburnt. It's extremely lightweight, breathable and quick to dry. A good tradeoff for those of us who are used to climbing in tank tops. My shirt has a few pilled spots from rock abrasion, but no tears, it's holding up really well after a year of use. The hood on this shirt paired with a cap does a good job of keeping the sides of my face protected as well. It's a little long, but the tie at the waist does a good job of keeping it from hanging too low. Bonus: love the color!

BEST SUNHOODIE/LAYER EVER (except for stupid drawstring)
Best sunhoodie, best top on the market. It is the best thing to wear all summer. It is so soft so stretchy and the most effective at sun protection and cooling. always feel safe in it, have never chafed in it, and just always look forward to wearing it. Wore it for 5 days at Cocodona (250 mile race) and had zero issues. The only issue, and it's a major one, is the STUPID drawstring on the bottom. It is useless and furthermore, it becomes a HUGE issue when going to the bathroom. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE MH, remove the dumb drawstring. I beg you.
